Okidata 390+ Dead

Okidata 390+ refuses to print.  Head doesnt move to left and alarm light comes on after pressing print.  Have checked OKI data base for solutions to no avail, checked paper path etc.  Win XP Home SP2. Have tried on second computer also.  Any suggestions?  Ed

    how are you connecting with the parallel or the usb?
