    I just received the new OS Vista. It will take some getting used to. How do I get rid of entering a password every time I turn it on. I would like to go directly to the the desktop.

    Let me try this again...

    The resume password protection is under your power options under the advanced settings.
    This is somewhere in your control panel, sorry I cant pinpoint it.
