Internet connections problems with two ethernet adapter
« on: April 17, 2007, 09:24:17 AM »
OS: Win XP

My computer has two ethernet adapters - one is used for local workgroup and one for connecting to the internet.

Workgroup computers does not need internet connection and is configured properly to communicate to this computer.

With the second ethernet adapter, how do I set the internet connection to find the second adapter? The internet connection wizard did not give a solution to my dilemma.  Also, this computer is part of a LAN.

Thank you.

Don't use the wizard, manually configure the NIC to use either DHCP or a custom IP scheme  from the modem or router in configuration -> Network settings.
