Internet - "page can not be found"
« on: April 17, 2007, 01:20:00 PM »
Hi

When I try and access a page on the internet using MS IE or Mozilla Firefox an alert box pops up saying:

"Alert!
Google could not be found. Please try again"

Its the same for any sites I try to access.

It basically means that I can't get on the internet.

I've checked, and the wireless router is working and sending a signal which my computers receiving. The other computers in the house are working fine with it to. The LAN is also enabled.

I'd be really grateful if anyone might have some suggestions!

Thanks!
Tim

cocokeelers ....... How about some info on the system.......
    When did it last work?
Has anyone been playing with it ?
Does it actualy have a connection to the net ?
Have you tried to create a new connection?
Have you tried resetting the Internet options to default ?

If you don't know the answer, it isn't a dumb question.
