hi there i have recently bought a Toshiba satellite m50 series laptop brandnew so nothing wrong hasnt been dropped etc i have a few games on it and untill last week the cd/dvd drive is not working

the d drive does not show in my computer like usual and when i put the cd or dvd in it makes the sound it loading then it stops please help me out

Welcome To Computer Hope. Personally I'd say your best bet is to get the store you bought it from to take a look at it because your warranty is probably still in effect.

Yeh, just go to the store you got it from and ask them to take a look at it. If the cd drive is sevearly damaged, they will replace the laptop because of the warranty, since it's a new computer.

I was going to day something stupid here but nvm.........

cool thanks for the fast reply and the help i have talked to them and they said to come in and warrenty is still avalible if any one alse has any other posible soultions please speak up cheers
