rthdcpl.exe
« on: April 08, 2007, 09:14:33 AM »
This comes up when I log onto my computer.  The system DLL user 32.dll was relocated in memory.  the application will not run properly.  The relocation occcurred because the DLL C:\WINDOWS\system 32\HHCTRL.OCX occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs.  The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL.

It all started when I defragged my computer.  Next I ran the scan disk.  When the computer rebooted it wanted my password but would not accept it.  I had to go in on Safe Mode and turn it off.  The computer is running fine but this error message keeps coming up when I boot.
I don't know what it is for or what to do about it.  I read some on the Internet and it is a Realtek file.   ???

Thank you!  That worked great.  No message on start up anyway. Now, this isn't new, this was going on at the same time, when I shut down I get the message PTAWIA has encountered a problem and has to shut down.  What is PTAWIA?  What can I do with it?

You're more than Welcome...
Easyshare has it's share of problems...it lasted less than 2 days on my machine.
