Here's a site that will generate code for you.  Frankly, I don't think this is a good idea.  IE 7 and Firefox will not display these unless the user does something to tell their browser to go ahead and display it.  IE 7 displays the ActiveX warning.  In Firefox, I believe some setting in Tools, Options, needs to be set in order for something to be displayed in the status bar.

Yes, I do know what you're asking about.  I visited http://www.neatadventure.com/ [not http:\\www.neatadventrues.com] and I'm telling you it doesn't work in Win XP Pro SP2 with either IE 7 or Firefox 2.0.0.3, with the default settings in these browsers.  I did figure out how to change a setting in IE7 to allow the scrolling marquee to appear in the status bar.  The setting is found in Tools, Internet Options, Security, Custom Level, and then enable "Allow status bar updates via script", under Scripting.  And, in Firefox, it can be enabled via Tools, Options, Content, Advanced, and checking the box for "Change status bar text".

I also visited that site with Win 98SE, IE 6, and the scrolling marquee does appear in the browser status bar with that system without me having to change any settings.

With these later versions of browsers that have this setting disabled by default, I believe many visitors to websites designed with script for displaying text/marquee in the status will simply never know about it.

By the way, did you not visit the link I provided in my previous post?  Why did you say "I think u don't know what i am asking help for"?
