    Viewing pictures in Vista

How do set, as a default, Microsoft Office Picture Manager as my program to view pictures. Right now it opens to a yet to be purchased  Corel Snapfire Plus, which I don't care for.

Might be under folder options in the control panel. Can't tell for sure, haven't used Vista yet.

Did you install Corel Snapfire on a trial basis?  And, is it still installed?  I'm guessing you installed it, and that installation changed the default program for viewing pictures.  I don't know how you change this back in Vista.  I'm wondering whether simply uninstalling Corel Snapfire would do it.

        Hmm
You bought a Dell, didn't you, wildwood?

        Right click any image file
        and then click
        "Open With"
It will give you a list. Find the program you want to open that file type
and then click "Use for all programs" (or whaterver its called now)

That is what you would do for Windows XP, but Im not using my Dell Vista laptop at this moment, so lets just hope thats it

This could have been a hick, CBMatt.

By the way, I love the quality of your pictures, Zylstra.

I could do a picture the same size but in non-Windows 95 colours.. You should really stop using paint.  ;)
