To hide the Outlook Express icons on a Windows 2000 SP4 system run...

    Code: [Select]
    "%SystemRoot%\system32\rundll32.exe" "%SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll",OCInstall HideOE

Alternatively, go to add/remove programs, then click windows components, uncheck it there and click next.  That will remove the shortcuts and links.

    thanks for the replies.
It works only for the admin account.
It isn't hidden if a normal domain user account logs on. Any ideas?

Use the admin account to change each user's settings...
