I have a partition on my pc, d:, the second partition of one sata hdd of 160giga. I use ghost to backup my old partition to it and convert it to NTFS using command prompt command, convert d:. Then I found it took forever to delete files on that partition. After a little research, I learned that the cluster size of the converted partition was 512 bytes. Then I managed to modify the cluster size to normal, 4k, by using paragon partition manager 5.5. But it is still slow. Can anyone help? I have tried defragmenting.
