    Removing Norton
    « on: May 22, 2007, 08:58:18 AM »
My subscription to Norton Internet Security 2006 expired yesterday.
I was planning to use AVG for my AV.What should I use for a firewall?
When I uninstall Norton using the instructions provided by this site it says to download and install ERUNT .Where do I find this program?
    Thanks

Duster I just removed Norton Internet Security 2006 with this removal tool on this Forum recommendation and it worked great. I was skeptical about it because I also used Ghost and Partition Magic. It removed Ghost but not Partition Magic if you are using either of those. My computer runs 50% faster now that I use AVG (free version) so I might commit to the purchased version in the future. Norton is just to invasive and such a resource hog, good riddens to bad rubbish.

        Erunt

        Firewall suggestions...
        Kerio Personal Firewall
        ZoneAlarm
        Comodo Firewall

Just make sure you use only one.
