Is there any freeware program that does the same thing as registry-mechanic.
This includes any registry scan and repair.
Or maybe better a program that check for all windows errors.(a better-one than CHKDSK)
    Does this exists?

    As usual thanks in advance

I already have Ccleaner (I love it)but this only removes the items who aren't suppose to be there.(any more)
I want a program who repairs damaged windows files.
      Thanks for trying

If it's Win2K or newer System File Checker does well...
      And it's built into Windows.

CCleaner needs to be DLoaded and installed...

System File Checker is Start/Run; type in sfc /scannow and hit Enter.
Note the space between sfc and /
Have your Windows CD handy as it may ask for it...

I have Dloaded and installed Ccleaner and I use the issue part allot it removes allot of unused files.
I 'll try sfc we'll see.
          Thanks for helping.
