Deleting duplicate files
« on: May 22, 2007, 02:39:54 PM »
Hi

I would appreciate your help.
I am using Clone Master for the identification of Duplicate Files. In doing so it I am getting a large number of files  of all kinds, dlls, exes etc which are listed as duplicates in the "dllcache".
I am not sure what to do with these...Is it safe to delete them?

Many thanks

Quick answer, NO..   They are part of the Windows file protection system.

See here..

Lots more info available on the WWW

Good luck

This is a great way to hose a system...
Are you in need of additional space or just experimenting ? ?
