Internal Server Error

I know nothing about computers, so this might not even be posted under the correct heading...sorry.

I am completing an online application that makes you click "next" to get through each section. Part of the way through, I clicked "next" and got the following error:
Internal Server Error 500
Exception: EAccessViolation
Message: Access violation at address 00519565 in module 'dos.exe'. Read of address 00000000

Is the error a problem with my computer or with the website itself? If it's on my side, can I fix it? Any help is much appreciated. ???
