I am in a bind. I stupidly downloaded Explorer 6 and while installing it there was a Windows error that required a reboot. When rebooted I could only go to
Windows safe mode or dos prompt modes, but not normal windows...
I tried to use the config recovery program but from the safe mode it said it reverted to an earlier version but when rebooted the same problem occured.. and from dos prompt the config recovery program could not work.
The fact that I have to leave on a trip in three days (Sunday) and need to get this resolved before I leave..
and the fact that I work in Poland is not helping because no one seems to have the Windows 98 cd in the English version.
My referbed laptop did not come with a Windows cd just a preinstalled licenced version... so I am frantic.
