    IBM Thinkpad control buttons

    I am using IBM Thinkpad T43. I don't see on screen indicators when I use sound control buttons and Function+F controls. I mean I have not those green volume bars on my screen. They were but now gone.

      I have run some cleaner programs. Other than CCleaner. I can't remember exact name. Just picked up because they had high rating.

      Did you reinstall the OS before this? Did you check the IBM site?

        No. All the change I remember is that cleaning stuff.
