deleting files

I am stuck on a issue about deleting files , and I think I  have tried every thing , I am not sure if its how I have saved the files  ??? They might be protected some how , I tried looking in the registry no luck !!I tried to take control in premissions no luck , can not find location of the files no luck , there are nine separate untouchable files nearly 1g of information

    gateo......How about a bit more info on these files ........ You say there are 9 files.
    Are they all in one folder or 9 separate folders?
    What is the file extension?
    You didnt encrypt these files by any chance ?
    What program did you use to create these files ?

    hi !  ok firstly yes separate file names ,I think in one folder  .it do not  say but the file s types is vob .ifo.mpg.bup that is what I  can see on some of the files sorry! NO NO I did not encrypt  . they were download . In properties the security tab it says , The reQuested security information is either unavailable or can not be displayed .I using windows vista

    Well, where did you download them? A legitimate site? Otherwise, it could be that the files are infected or corrupted or something.

    How long have you had the files? Can you access them (i.e. use them)?

    Those are video files from a DVD...if you can't access them or delete them this is probably due to an aborted or failed burn project.

    Try removing them in safemode.

    Right click the file
    Click Properties
    and select the Security tab

    Click your username
    and tell us what is allowed and denied

    hello thank you for the replys ! yes I tried most of your  suggestion  I also run A scan it checks ok . The security tab that in the properties says(the requested Security information is either unavailable or cant be displayed)
