help with picking a new laptop/notebook for game

Ive just bought flight simulatorx.Both my pc and laptop freeze at times while playing(which ive done only a few time).I need and are going to buy a new laptop or notebook.Wondering if anyone could give me some ideas or thoughts as to which brand and system i should go for.Im leaning towards dell or hp,but not sure what all i need to sopprt the game,ive heard others say they had had trouble also with this.Any infor would be appreciated? THX

FSX needs a beefy machine.
Do you have to get a laptop?
I highly recommend a desktop instead.
Whereabouts are you, and what's your budget?
And what are your current laptop and desktop's specs?

I would recommend getting a custom computer. Hp, Compaq, Dell come with ok parts but with the custom ones you pick what you want and it's cheaper! Mostly all towns/cities have a shop to. Sorry theres a place for everyone.
