Is there a cord? / RESOLVED
« on: June 05, 2007, 11:33:25 PM »
I have two desktops and one monitor. What I usually do is just keep switching the cords from my desktop to the monitor. Is there a cord that has two of those things that plug into the desktop and the other end has one that plugs into the monitor?  So that way whichever one is on it goes to the monitor instead of me keep switching the cords out like that. Also I dont have room for having a desktop for each computer because of the way my desk is designed. Please Help!

doktaz ..... What you want is a device called a KVM switch......
Then you use one mouse, one keyboard and one monitor....... connect both the pcs to it and then just switch back and forth between them with a single keystroke .........  All you need is a 2 port KVM switch..... I have a Linksys  ...works great ...

If you don't know the answer, it isn't a dumb question.
