how to add a win 98 start up to a hard disk
    « on: June 12, 2007, 02:07:55 AM »
don't know this is a right place to post or not. i know we can create a bootable cd using alot of burning software to allow the cd boot to DOS in start up. what i try to do is add the boot file to a hard disk, not a cd
for example, i have a USB hard disk, what i want to do is when i plug my USB hard disk on my pc and select boot from USB device, it'll boot into win 98 startup disk.
may be you'll ask what my purpose to do this, i'm actualy want to save all my ghost image file into my USB hard disk, with my ghost application and partition magic, so i can run the partition magic and ghost just plug in my USB hard disk, i don't need to bring a boot cd with me( currently what i'm doing).
i have see people doing this before. so sorry i didn't ask the guy to teach me.
    sorry for my lousy english!
