« on: July 27, 2007, 03:53:13 AM »
Everytime I go into a website, its a cooking website I cant access it. I click on the recipe but then I get this message:

We're very sorry!
The page you requested cannot be found

If you typed the URL yourself, please make sure that the spelling is correct.
If you clicked on a link to get here, there may be a problem with the link.
Try using your browser's "Back" button or the "Return to previous page" link below to choose a different link on that page, or use search to find what you are looking for.

Return to previous page

     :'(
I really dont understand what this is about as I try to keep my computer is updated.

Im using Windows XP, IE7.

Please help, someone. Thanks

What site and could you give us an example of a link that doesn't work?

Hmm.. there indeed seems to be an issue with IE 7 and this site.
I can open the links fine in Firefox, but in Internet Explorer the links doesn't work.
I can't explain why at the moment, but for some reason IE 7 is messing up the links.
This is how it looks in IE7
http://www.chefmufeed.com/x.pro/ModShow/ShowPage/x.pro/EggplantDipBabaghanooj.html

And this is the same link in Firefox.
http://www.chefmufeed.com/x.pro/EggplantDipBabaghanooj.html

This is very strange. Ill try and to look into this though.

I've done some searching but I haven't been able to find a solution other than to switch to another browser that is.

You could edit the links manually though.
When you click a link and get the page not found error. Go to your address bar and delete what I've underlined from the URL.

http://www.chefmufeed.com/x.pro/ModShow/ShowPage/x.pro/EggplantDipBabaghanooj.html

Then hit enter and the page should load.
