    DVD Burner
    « on: June 22, 2007, 08:02:56 PM »
    Goodevening  gentlemen,

I am back with another question. Or problem i should say. All of the sudden my dvd-rom is not working. It does not show up in my computer, but it does in the device manager. This is what is says:Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
so i proceed to download the driver for it and after installing this is what it says:
//// odd firmware update utility ver2.33i

    Available target is not found.

This shows up in a dos window.
Here are the specs for it, Pioneer DVDRW DVR-111D 16x8x8x6 IDE ATAPI 2MB 130ms Dual Layer Black bare drive.

Please help, any and all help will be appreciated. Thank You.

Those upper and lower filter problems are usually a goof up in the registry when you delete or, alter a CD,or DvD burning  program Roxio is notorious for this.
