Monitor issues
« on: July 19, 2007, 11:25:46 PM »
I recently purchased an HP computer and 19" Lg monitor. I hooked up all the correct cords and wired, yet when I turn on the monitor it says "analog power saving mode" then the monitor goes on standby. I cannot press the menu button, see my mouse or anything for that matter after it goes to standby. Please help.

How many Monitor ports do you have on your computer?
Were you attempting multiple monitors? If so, what Operating System are you using?

But most of all:
Did you read the directions?

Some monitors require special instalation techniques. (Drivers, screen resolution, color settings, etc)

If there is a reset button on the monitor, press it.
