Hmmm...

Try updating your video card, and if that doesn't work, reinstall the game.

How long since the computer was last cleaned out?
Does this happen in all 3d applications, all games, or just this game, or what?
Was it always like this?
if not, what happened before it started?

Cleaned out inside.

Although if it's only 8 months old it may not need it, it's worth checking.
Update your graphics drivers too.
This page of this guide covers completely uninstalling your old drivers and installing new ones.  I recommend you follow it to the letter (just that page) and then see if that helps.
Also, you only just meet the minimum requirements for the game, if you're a serious gamer you should consider getting a much better graphics card.

Actually my video-card surpasses even the recommended video-card which is a GeForce 4 Ti 128MB. Ill try cleaning and doing the driver thing  ;)
