battlefield 2142

hey guys , i loaded battlefield onto my computer and its all fine and dandy on setup of the game , but as soon as i get into the game , my computer lags like it used with the radoen 9250 maybe worse) ,  my new card is the geforce 7800 256 pci-e , any help ....

I am still running intel pentium 3 for now , untill i can figure out how to take my new fan of and insert the new chip as well as the compound.

I've never played that game before but does it require a Pentium 4? Honestly I've never even heard of the game until I got on this forum.

So you fixed the problem then? because i found the sytem requriements online, if you do need them then here they are:

yes my system can play it geez lmao............thats why i think no-one is replying to my threads on how to fix the issue i think i have already done everything everyone would have though off , and the issue istn fixed im still lagging to the max........

You can download it from EA using EA Link and a credit card.
Then you just download it, no stores needed.

Northern Strike is a good addition, yes.
And don't worry about not being in the UK, most of our members aren't now.
Word of warning about Northern Strike - get BF2142, then install the 1.25 patch, then install Norhtern Strike, then patch it again.
Otherwise you'll run into problem.

It's a faster CPU and a better motherboard, but you'd have to change your graphics card.
I was going on the assumption that you weren't changing your board.
Besides, I don't think your board or CPU is the problem here.

It's £15 here, which is about $30.
And I've seen it even cheaper sometimes.
Shop around a bit.

It's frustrating me as well, I'm sure there must be a simple explanation.
