games not working !
« on: June 30, 2007, 12:04:33 PM »
well, i play gunbound ... its pretty good game ... but thats not the topic ...

when the game finishes loading and i enter the game ... i cant use the WHOLE keyboard ... i cant use the arrows, letters, and not even numbers ... this applies only ingame ... when i type the login name and password ...everything works fine ...

i checked all the accessibility options ... sticky keys arent on and niether are the filter and toggle keys ... but there is something akward ... when i press the SHIFT key .. the arrows and letters start working ...

and this applies for all flash games and built in computer games ... like pinball andd these stuff ..

im not the only one with this problem ... my sister's laptop has the same problem ...

im sick and tired of pressing shift ....

does anyone know how to fix it ... please help me  ;D ;D ;D

Do you have windows? If so, select start, then run, then type in dxdiag and click ok. Then go to the "display" tab. Their you can test DirectDraw and Direct3D. Tell me if those are working right.

Well, I think the problem is that there is no problem, may sound wierd, but maybe you have to press shift to enable the game on your computer. Since it's on both computers, it's likely normal for the games your playing.

Although you don't think it'll work because your sister's laptop also has the problem, you should still go ahead and try another keyboard.  It's a quick and easy test.
