How to turn off the F1 key link to Help
    « on: July 10, 2007, 01:50:30 PM »
Is there a way to turn of the F1 key so as not to launch help in any Windows program, example Excel.  Sometimes I try to hit Esc and end up hitting F1.  On my slow arse computer, Help takes forever to load.

Thanks.  That article gave me another idea.  I found the help file for Excel, and renamed it to*.exb.  The first time I hit F1, Excel asks if I want to install Help.  The next time, nothing!  Not the most elagant of solutions, but it works.
