CPU, CPU And More CPU!
« on: July 07, 2007, 12:18:28 PM »
Hey I was wondering which CPU is better. Now I know some people say ohh if your a Intel guy go for this, oh if your a AMD guy go for this. But please I just need a straight answer which one is better?
Note:Prices for both computers are the same. So don't worry about the price.
Anyways For the First one.
-Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
And The Other one is
-AMD Athlon X2 5600+
They both have 3 Gbs of RAM, 400Gb HD, Vista Home Premium. So yeah?

What will we have over 5 years? a hexacore processor?
    Where are they good for?
OK a dual core but they make sure you can do more things at the same time but a quad core does it do the same but just more?
Isn't that the purpose of RAM?
I get a little crazy because of those things.

      Get the Core 2 Quad.
Not only is it faster in single applications, it has twice the cores of the Athlon X2, so when multitasking it is a lot faster.
There's your answer, the first is better.
