Here is a definition of a "runtime error"

run-time error - An error in the execution of a program which occurs at run time, as opposed to a compile-time error.

A good programming language should, among other things, aim to replace run-time errors by compile-time errors. Language features such as strong typing help.

A good program should attempt to avoid run-time errors by, for example, checking that their input data is sensible. Where this is not possible, the program should attempt to detect the error and handle it gracefully rather than just exiting via the language or operating system's default handler. Here again, a good language will make this easy to do (or at least possible).

      Usually caused by bad software.

just in case there are any hidden additional products such as spyware hiding in your system slowing it down some tools such as  ASquared or AVG should clear up any problems

        ASquared
        a trial from here

        http://www.emsisoft.es/es/software/download/

        Spybot S&D
        http://www.safer-networking.org/

AVG free anti virus download a thirty day trial for free from

        http://free.grisoft.com/doc/5390/us/frt/0

        AVG free anti mallware/spyware

        http://free.grisoft.com/doc/download-free-anti-spyware/us/frt/0

copy these links into your browser then download and update each product before running  it is a good idea to run all of them one after the other in safe mode first, then again in normal running mode.
Please give as much information regarding the Specification and components of your computer and a note about what you were doing when the problem arose and any other relevant thing that you think may help.
