    not sure about any flash stuff. not really even sure why you want a complete flash site. To me, it's overkill. But that's just my opinion.
    uh, do a Yahoo! search for "tutorial creating flash websites"

    By full flash website, do you mean something like this where the whole site is an animation?

      @carbon
      what else can i mean?...

      @michaelewis.
      um... that doesnt help at all
      and to there are reasons why to create a full flash site
      and how is it and overkill

      Flash / css / html is the same thing
      flash is just more convenient when you do stuff
      even adding cms onto flash is easier.

        lol lordoftheplat you've obviously never heard of Jacob Nielsen who have written a lot about web site usability. If he ever heard you say that flash and html is the same thing he'd probably throw you out of the nearest window. :D (Note I don't agree with everything Jacob Nielsen says but the man do have some good points.)

        how can an in-depth tutorial on creating a flash website not help? Unless you don't want to read any tutorials or do your own search. In that case, you'll find little help on any forum.

        flash is completely different from css and html.
        css and html can run on any modern browser without any sort of plugin, while flash needs a plugin.
        css and html can be created by anyone with access to a computer, but flash can only be created by someone that can fork out the money to buy the program.
        css and html are script based, and flash is visual with some scripting elements.

        Now how is it that flash is the same?

        What is PS?

        For images on websites, jpg/jpeg will usually provide images in much smaller file size than .png, something to consider for any dialup users visiting your site and consumption of your monthly bandwidth allowance from your web hosting service.

          Yes, we all knew PS meant Photoshop.............. It wouldn't hurt to just wright Photoshop

          Why do you want a website with flashy and detailed animations? 70% of the people that visit your site would not be able to view it because either it will load too slow or they don't have the right plug-ins...

            If you think Flash = automatic quality then you're sadly mistaken. Yes there are good flash sites out there but there sure as *censored* is a lot of bad ones too. And if you use flash just for the sake of flash then your site is going to be one of the bad ones.

            And do you know what a real "pro coder" would tell you? That you need to learn the basics like HTML and CSS. And most importantly you need to learn what makes a good website good. And I can tell you right now that it has nothing to do with what language it was created in.

                I took this to mean flash since that is the general topic here.

                In my experience, if a flash site is not made by someone who has a degree in graphic art & design or any equivalent combination of education and experience, any site, which is flash only, will be overkill.
                Of course there a those who completely go against my experience and confuse the heck out of me.
