    Only USB routers might need drivers and the 604 isn't an USB router. Not all routers come with setup programs either.
    Since you've bought it used, it might be a good idea to reset it, to clear any settings from the previous owner. You should be able to download a manual for it from D-Links site and find instructions on how to reset it.

      There is a tiny pinhole labeled "reset" on the back, should I just go for it and push it?  LOL :D

        Sweet sassy molassey!  I figured it out!   ;D  First I tried resetting which didn't help, and then I finally figured out how to upgrade the firmware through the Dlink wizard and that did the trick.  Thanks for everyone who offered suggestions!
