bios factory default

can anyone tell me where one sets the bios back to factory default??

Remove the CMOS battery for a few minutes...
Do this with all power to the system removed.
Hit the power switch a few times with the battery out as well.

Thanks for the reply. I ahve never done this - where do you find the battery and what is involved in taking it out? I posted another message about my floppy and CD being missing in the BIOS Boot Sequence option - do you think this reset might fix that or am I wasting my time to try this to fix such a problem?

Remove all power sources as stated. It's not all that difficult to do, you should be fine.
Just take your time and don't force anything.

As to the other issue i've never heard of that happening with a BIOS before.
