    Incorrect Function DVD-RW

    Hi,
    I have my external DVD-RW Sony and my computer doesnt open it,, when u double click the F: / or DVD it says, INCORRECT FUNTION f:
    How can i burn w/out NEO program,?

    The DVD -RW see in device manager?
    And it has yellow mark?
    Also tell It is ide or sata cable?

      ayhen14 when did this problem start?
      Have you installed or removed something lately that might have caused it?
      Also what version of Windows are you using?

      Right clik the icon for the drive and there should be an "Open" option...

      Please restate what exactly you are trying to do...

        My computer wont boot up,, i don't know the problem its has no video at all but the processor still working.
        Ill already check the monitor the hard drive, the memory, the video card its all working properly i think its the mother board could you help me,.? is there any way to fix it?  tnx
