Computer not booting up

I have a E-Machine W2646.All of a sudden it wont come on nothing on screen.I see the fans are working and can here the hard drive spin and the cd and dvd roms the lights flash green but nothing on the screen also the computer light on case doesnt come on it should be green.Any ideas?Would love to get this up and running,also checked monitor with other computer and is fine.Any help would be great

Cant see anything on the Monitor,it doesnt even come on to the screen before it boots into Windows

What Windows version is it?
Did you keep tapping F8 key, when your computer started?

yes tried f8 nothing it has Windows XP Pro,and thanks for the replys

maybe it's much more better if you try the computer on a working monitor.

Monitor works fine on other computer.Like I said it doesnt even have the screen before windows loads

Maybe on-board video is shot? You'd have to borrow video card from a friend to check it out.

Ok will try another video card but also my tower light isnt green either but I will try another card.Thanks for the replys
