Files are on CD-R disk but not showing up!

Help!!!

I've been working on transferring files from my computer to a CD-R disk, for the past 4 or 5 days. 

Everything was going fine, till I re-loaded the disk a second time yesterday, and tried to bring up the files on it.   

It now comes up blank!  BUT, it does display that there is 73% of the disk used, or 187 MB's free of 702 MB's.  So there's obviously files on the disk.  Why aren't the files showing up anymore?   

This is a desktop computer/emachines/Windows Vista

All of my other disks that I've been loading information on, are fine, it's just this one that is acting up. 

Any help or advice would be SO VERY MUCH appreciated!

This normally means the CD burn was not finalised and instead multi-session was turned on in your burning software...
What are you using by the way ? ?
You can DLoad and install ISOBuster which is Free and it will let you read that CD and even extract the files so you can re-burn them...

OMG!!!!  Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOOO VERY much!!!!!  You helped me recover over 513 MB's of important files!!!!  BLESS YOU!!!!    I truly thought they were lost for good. 

I'll be sure to recommend that program to friends, in case they run across the same problem I had!

Our Resident MS Office expert, soybean is from there i believe...
