I have observed the list of features of both computers very well, and I have came to a conclusion.

I would prefer, do note that  I am a gamer as well and I love smooth gameplay, the AlienWare one.

The thing is, how much money are you willing to spend on it?

I have friends who use Vista, and have tons of problems with playing games on Vista. From crashing to their desktops to freezing in-game.

Vista bashers, if you have half a mind and dont treat your computer with crap and perform self sabatoge you wouldnt have a problem. I hate people bashin Vista becuase THEY are the ones at fault.

Ive run Vista over 6 months and had VERY FEW problems most of which were resloved within an hour of research.

1/2  a mind is better than 1 hour of research every time I want to accomplish something on my pc....

I really liked the lapping stuff though  ;)
