Battlefield: 1942 - Resolution Help
« on: August 12, 2007, 11:08:40 AM »
Hey, In Battlefield: 1942, the max resolution is 1400x1024 or something around there, my monitor resolution is 1680x1050 which makes in-game text and other things look really bad. Up at my uncles gaming center though, battlefield has a resolution of 1680x1050, does anybody know how to get that? or am I stuck with bad text and other things? lol

In-game adjust your graphic settings.  ::)

Full screen apps adjust the monitor settings according to whatever u say. Just be sure its in full screen and it shoudl be fine.

Isn't 1680X1050 widescreen? To set a custom resolution you have to go into the config files and change it there, then set them to read-only so the game won't change them back. I couldn't get BF1942 to run properly in widescreen, the resolution was right but the whole picture was stretched.
