Laptop memory question
« on: August 12, 2007, 12:30:56 PM »
I have a Sony laptop model PCG-FRV26 that uses PC2100 sodimm. Can I replace PC2100 with PC2700? It is cheaper to purchase  and I have heard it is backward compatible. Anyone have experience with this?

Thanks

Crucial.com says PC2700 will work.  Trust them; they're smart.  See http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.aspx?model=VAIO%20PCG-FRV26
