I have a Dell Dimension 2350. I get a message "video driver failed to initialize

I get a blue screen with the message "video driver failed to initialize.  I installed a new video card but it did not solve the problem.  Anybody have any idea as to what the problem might be.  Thanks for the help.

    welcome to puterhope
    may be a silly question but did you try downloading the drivers for the graphics from dell? for the onboard grapghics

    With the tons of info you have provided on your system OS and what happened prior to this including any new software/hardware added i'm sure this will be a speedy diagnosis...
