problems with the ipod

I can't put the music in my ipod becuase the computer doesn't recognise the software itunes. Need a later version. Answers Quickly please.

    Please describe your problem in greater detail, because at the moment it isn't very clear.
    Also, tell us what version of Windows do you have?
    Do you have the most recent version of Itunes?
    Do you get any error messages?
    Have your ipod ever worked with that computer?

    Oh and by the way, you won't get help any sooner just because you tell us to answer you quickly.

    Computers don't recognize software like hardware, software needs to be installed first.

    OH MY GOODNESS! WHAT THE HECK DID THEY DO TO THE APPLE WEBSITE? Its horrible!

    Anyways
    Please download and install the latest version of iTunes
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
    Unselect "    Keep me up to date with Apple news, software updates, and the latest information on products and services." and "Email me New Music Tuesday and special iTunes offers. "
