Is this fixable?
« on: August 28, 2007, 07:23:17 PM »
I tried to turn my computer on today (not this one) and the following message came up:

We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start properly. A recent hardware or software change my have caused this.

If your computer stopped responding, restarted unexpectedly, or was automiatically shut own to protect your files and folders, choose Last Known Good Configuration to rever to the most recent settings that worked.

If a previous startup attempt was interrupted due to a power failure or because the Power or Reset button was pressd, or if you aren't sure what caused the problem, choose Start Windows Normally.

      Safe Mode
      Safe Mode with Networking
      Safe Mode with Command Prompt
Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent settings that worked)
      Start Windows Norally
[/b]

I tried all of the above options and nothing has worked.  I have too much information on this computer to have to start from scratch, is there any way to pull my files off even if I DO have to reimage?

Any information would be greatly appreciated...i'm desperate..thanks.
