W32Time error
« on: September 05, 2007, 08:12:39 AM »
I am getting a recurring error on one of my servers from W32Time. EventID:29.
I've done some looking (on eventid.net) but haven't quite figured out how to resolve the error. I kind of think that the server isn't looking at the domain controller for network time, but I have forgotten how to check it out.
Anyone know how to check it and/or change it?

I get that error message in the event log for my servers. It doesn't cause my system any problem though. It's because i don't allow  the server to timecheck and update to an outside time controlled server which is what w32time is trying to do iirc

I believe their are ways to turn it off in the registry or such but I prefer to ignore the message for that one.  8)
