audio problems
« on: September 09, 2007, 03:17:31 AM »
Hi , I am new at this.

I have just  purchased a new computer with windows vista installed by the  store.  I have  no sound ( I  have spkrs plugged in ) and have since installed the  audio driver sent by the store
I am still getting a pop up window " NO AUDIO O/P INSTALLED "  when my cursor is at the spkr icon ( bottom r /h cnr ) .
When i check at the device manager the response i get is "  Windows was able to successfully install device driver software, but the driver software encountered a problem when it tried to run. The problem code is 10." Any ideas please ?

Have you tried deleting all the sound devices under "non plug-and-play.
