    integrated video on dell b130
    « on: September 09, 2007, 07:19:42 PM »
    Hey all...

    I have a Dell Inspiron B130

    Pentium M 1.5 GHz
    1.5 GB RAM
    XP Home SP2

As far as I know, the shared memory for the integrated graphics is 128 MB. Does anyone know if i t's possible through a BIOS update or something to change this amount? I'd like to change it to 256 if it's possible at all.

Shared video memory if onboard will only take the max it's designed for ...if it's using 128 that's the max.
An add on card may be the way to go if you need more.

      Thanks for the reply patio.

This is a laptop, so, and correct me if I'm wrong, there's no add on card available to increase video memory. unless you've seen some type of pcmcia card that would do this?

if not I guess I'm screwed.
