ok im not gonna slave another computer but i am gonna backup my files in a harddrive...i just have a problem with the harddrive...it says it has a corrupted file...how do i remove it?

and the computer im going to take it to a repair shop

i tihnk he deleted a windows package or something...because everything including the internet explorer is not looking normal...like running windows xp on classic mode..

the taskbar has a gray box over it and the start menu is wack...

If you follow the link Dusty provided above the procedure is fairly simple...simply remove the drive and hook it up as a slave drive in a working machine and copy/burn any data you need from it...
