I don't get it...
Do you have the music video stored as a file on your computer? If you do, you should be able to use WMM to brighten it.
If not then how is the video currently stored? VHS, DVD, etc?

mpeg, or avi forms, it's so i can brighten and upload to myspace.com

brighten and save to upload to myspace or for future use , like just to watch and enjoy

Windows Movie Maker should be able to handle those formats and do what you want.
