New version of HOTMAIL
« on: September 24, 2007, 11:42:40 AM »
What is with this "new"version of HOTMAIL. Every time I hit the desktop icon a page comes up that tells me to enable cookies. When I go thru what I am told to do, I STILL get the same message. Anybody else experience this?

Which Internet browser are you using?  And do you mean Windows live Hotmail?

Is the icon a direct link to the hotmail webpage?

I'm not entirely sure which icon you are talking about?  Why not open your Internet browser and type in http://www.hotmail.com?  You could also just set it as your default home page so when ever you open you web browser you will automatically be at Hotmail.

First of all welcome to CH  pasta .
OK now i think this is the problem you may be experiencing, firstly you go to your Hotmail Id but it wont let you login and prompts you to go to hotmail site, It tells you to enable cookies , now here is what you need to do.
        1) Go to your Internet Explorer Properties .
2)Put all the settings on default.
        3)Click ok and apply .
and then go back again and try to login and see what happens.
Enable windows updates from the Start menu, this could also help.

P.S. hopefully you are using Internet Explorer for your browser , if not let us know.
