    USB to USB 2.0
    « on: September 22, 2007, 08:58:08 AM »
I installed a USB 2.0 into my computer however I do not have the driver to enhance my controller to a USB2.0. I believe it came with the USB2.0 but I can't find it. Can I download a driver for it?

What type of device did you install ? ?
    This is unclear.
A machine either has USB 2.0 or it doesn't...
You can install a PCI USB card that will support USB 2.0

      I don't know the terminology.
I bought a 4-port USB2.0 thing that I physically put into my computer. It is being read as a USB1 and not 2.0. I believe I need a driver to make it work as 2.0 as it came with one but I no longer have it.
      Thanks.

Can you post back here with the manufacturer name and model number of the  card that you inserted?
Any and all descriptive info about it is good.

With that info,  maybe somebody here can help you.

Which windows are you using? If you are using windows XP,
you should have the service packs installed. SP/1 is most
      important for USB support.
