Ie can't establish a connection

I can't get a connection through ie no matter what i do.I can still connect through mozilla but some programs that are hardwired into using ie don't run anymore ( YIM or MSN) \

I tried reinstalling ie but it didn't work.Here's the network diagnostics log if it's of any use

    IE seems to be configured to use the loopback ip (127.0.0.1) as a proxy. I would suggest you try to disable this.

    From your control panel select "Internet Options"
    Select the "Connections" tab and press the "LAN settings" button.
    Untick the box next to "Use a proxy server..."
