5 drives not being recognised
« on: October 03, 2007, 03:45:53 PM »
Hi again, I have 5 little ports on the computer one of which I put the memory card from the digital camera into to scan pictures to the computer, they are SmartMedia/xD, MMV/SD, USB 2.0, Compactflash I/II, Memory Stick PRO.  The computer is not even recognising them any more, when you put the card in the slot, nothing happens, when you go into My Computer they are not there...any ideas?

Sometimes you can go to the control panel and remove all instances
of USB then reboot and they will be reinstalled by windows. You should
have SP/1 and SP/2 installed on your windows XP.
